Reu, Ragau [Rē'ū,Rā'gôu]—friend or friendship. A son of Peleg, the fourth from Shem, and father of Shereg. An ancestor of Abraham (Gen. 11:18-21; 1 Chron. 1:25). Like other men of that time, Reu was long-lived.
