Mijamin, Miamin [Mĭj'amĭn, Mī'a mĭn]—on the right hand or fortunate.

1. A descendant of Aaron, of the family of the sixth of the twenty-four courses of priests (1 Chron. 24:9).
2. A priest who, with Nehemiah, sealed the covenant (Neh. 10:7) and perhaps the trumpeter of Nehemiah 12:41. See MIAMIN and MINIAMIN.
