Eshcol [Ĕsh'cŏl]—cluster of grapes. One of the three Amorite brothers who helped Abraham in his pursuit of the four kings who captured Lot (Gen. 14:13, 24). Also the name of the valley or brook of Eshcol, famous for its grapes (Num. 13:23, 24; 32:9; Deut. 1:24).
