¹⁵ For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear.^(A) Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption,^(B) by whom we cry out, “Abba,^[a] Father!” ^(C)

²¹ that the creation itself^(A) will also be set free from the bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.

¹⁵ and free those who were held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.^(A)
