¹³ From there they set out and camped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that comes out of the border of the Amorites, ^(A)for the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites. ¹⁴ Therefore it is said in the Book of the Wars of Yahweh,

¹⁸ Then they went through the wilderness and ^(A)around the land of Edom and the land of Moab and came to the east toward the sunrise of the land of Moab, and they camped beyond the Arnon; but they ^(B)did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.
