His Death and Resurrection Predicted

³¹ Then^(A) he began to teach them that it was necessary for the Son of Man^(B) to suffer many things and be rejected^(C) by the elders,^(D) chief priests, and scribes,^(E) be killed, and rise^(F) after three days.^(G)

¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world was created^(A) through him, and yet the world did not recognize him. ¹¹ He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are,^(A) yet without sin.^(B)
