What a woman must do when she has a baby

12 The Lord said to Moses, ² ‘Say this to Israel's people. When a boy is born, his mother is not clean for seven days. When she is bleeding each month, the rule is the same. She is not clean. ³ Eight days after he is born, they must circumcise the boy.
