Jeremiah 25:7-9
1599 Geneva Bible
7 Nevertheless, ye would not hear me, saith the Lord, but have provoked me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
8 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Because ye have not heard my words,
9 Behold, I will send and take to me all the [a]families of the North, saith the Lord, and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babel my [b]servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations [c]round about, and will destroy them, and make them an astonishment and an hissing, and a continual desolation.
