⁵God called^(A) the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.”^(B) And there was evening, and there was morning^(C)—the first day.

⁵And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

¹⁶God made two great lights—the greater light^(A) to govern^(B) the day and the lesser light to govern^(C) the night.^(D) He also made the stars.^(E)
