The Table

²³ “You are to construct a table^(A) of acacia wood, thirty-six inches long, eighteen inches wide, and twenty-seven inches high.^[a]

³⁰ Put the Bread of the Presence^(A) on the table before me at all times.

⁶ Arrange them in two rows, six to a row, on the pure gold table^(A) before the Lord.

⁴¹ You sat on a luxurious couch with a table spread before it,^(A) on which you had set my incense and oil.

¹⁶ “They are the ones who may enter my sanctuary^(A) and approach my table to serve me.^(B) They will keep my mandate.

⁷ “By presenting defiled food on my altar.”

“How have we defiled you?” you ask.^(A)

When you say, “The Lord’s table is contemptible.”^(B)

¹² “But you are profaning it^(A) when you say, ‘The Lord’s table is defiled, and its product, its food, is contemptible.’
