^26 (A)And it will be when your children say to you, ‘^[a]What is the meaning of this new slavery to you?’ ²⁷ that you shall say, ‘It is a Passover sacrifice to ^(B)Yahweh who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He smote the Egyptians, but delivered our homes.’” ^(C)And the people bowed low and worshiped.

²⁰ “^(A)When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What do the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments mean which Yahweh our God commanded you?’
