¹²If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city.

¹²And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:

³I will encamp against you on all sides;
I will encircle^(A) you with towers
and set up my siege works^(B) against you.

³And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.
