24 ¶ And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her, (A)and she bare a son, and [a]he called his name Solomon: also the Lord loved him.
25 For the Lord had sent [b]by Nathan the [c]Prophet: therefore [d](B)he called his name Jedidiah, because the Lord loved him.
26 ¶ Then Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the [e]city of the Kingdom.
