15 And he fashioned (A)the two pillars of bronze; (B)eighteen cubits was the height of one pillar, and a line of twelve cubits [a]measured the circumference of both. 16 He also made two capitals of molten bronze to set on the tops of the pillars; the height of the one capital was five [b]cubits and the height of the other capital was five cubits. 17 There were nets of network and twisted threads of chainwork for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital and seven for the other capital. 18 So he made the pillars, and two rows around on the one network to cover the capitals which were on the top of the pomegranates; and so he did for the other capital. 19 Now the capitals which were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily design, four cubits. 20 And there were capitals on the two pillars, even right above the [c]rounded projection which was on the one side of the network; and (C)the pomegranates numbered two hundred in rows around [d]both capitals. 21 (D)Thus he set up the pillars at the (E)porch of the nave; and he set up the right pillar and named it [e]Jachin, and he set up the left pillar and named it [f]Boaz. 22 And on the top of the pillars was lily design. So the work of the pillars was finished.

17 Now the bronze (A)pillars which belonged to the house of Yahweh and the (B)stands and the bronze (C)sea, which were in the house of Yahweh, the Chaldeans shattered and carried all their bronze to Babylon. 18 They also took away the (D)pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the bowls, the [a]pans, and all the bronze vessels which were used to minister. 19 And the captain of the guard also took away the (E)cups, the firepans, the bowls, the pots, the lampstands, the [b]pans, and the offering bowls, what was fine gold and what was fine silver. 20 The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under [c]the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of Yahweh—the bronze of all these vessels was (F)beyond weight. 21 As for the pillars, the (G)height of each pillar was [d]eighteen cubits, and [e]it was twelve cubits in (H)circumference and four fingers in thickness, and hollow. 22 Now a (I)capital of bronze was on it; and the height of each capital was five cubits, with network and (J)pomegranates upon the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, including pomegranates. 23 There were ninety-six [f]exposed pomegranates; all (K)the pomegranates numbered one hundred on the network all around.
