^2 (A)Now it happened in the third year, that ^(B)Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.

Jehoram Reigns over Judah

¹⁶ Now in the fifth year of ^(A)Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then the king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah became king.

¹⁸ And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, just as the house of Ahab had done, for ^(A)the daughter of Ahab became his wife; and he did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh.

^2 (A)And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him to his face and said to King Jehoshaphat, “^(B)Should you help the wicked and love those who hate Yahweh and ^[a](C)so bring wrath on yourself from Yahweh?
