1 Kings 16:7-10
New International Version
7 Moreover, the word of the Lord came(A) through the prophet Jehu(B) son of Hanani to Baasha and his house, because of all the evil he had done in the eyes of the Lord, arousing his anger by the things he did, becoming like the house of Jeroboam—and also because he destroyed it.
Elah King of Israel
8 In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah, Elah son of Baasha became king of Israel, and he reigned in Tirzah two years.
9 Zimri, one of his officials, who had command of half his chariots, plotted against him. Elah was in Tirzah at the time, getting drunk(C) in the home of Arza, the palace administrator(D) at Tirzah. 10 Zimri came in, struck him down and killed him in the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah. Then he succeeded him as king.(E)
2 Chronicles 28:19-21
New International Version
19 The Lord had humbled Judah because of Ahaz king of Israel,[a] for he had promoted wickedness in Judah and had been most unfaithful(A) to the Lord. 20 Tiglath-Pileser[b](B) king of Assyria(C) came to him, but he gave him trouble(D) instead of help.(E) 21 Ahaz(F) took some of the things from the temple of the Lord and from the royal palace and from the officials and presented them to the king of Assyria, but that did not help him.(G)
