33 And he took him away from the crowd by himself and[a] put his fingers into his ears, and after[b] spitting, he touched his tongue. 34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha!” (that is, “Be opened!”). 35 And[c] his ears were opened and his difficulty in speaking was removed[d] and he began to speak normally.
